The Association was established in 1971 with the objective of maintaining and enhancing Rathgar so that it would always remain a pleasant place to live in, to work in and to be proud of.
The Association, working with Dublin City Council and other community groups, strives to ensure that our local infrastructure and amenities are maintained and enhanced to an acceptable standard.
Rathgar residents are lucky to live in an area with such a fine architectural heritage. It is up to all of us to work to maintain such an important legacy. The Association assists in this by monitoring planning applications and ensuring compliance with such permissions.
The Association assists groups or individuals with such day-to-day issues as potholes, broken pavements, road cleaning, road traffic, parking, dog fouling, graffiti, and planning and development.
