RRA committee welcomes new pedestrian lights in Rathgar Village

After a number of years active lobbying and campaigning by the Rathgar Residents Association the committee members are delighted to welcome Dublin City Council's decision to make Rathgar village safer for pedestrians and shoppers by placing pedestrian lights spanning Rathgar Road between the 108 and the corner Deli.  The RRA committee would like to thank local councillors and DCC officials and all those involved in implementing the decision and looks forward to a safer village environment for all.

Oaklands Drive parking hoax

Oaklands Drive parking hoax

On 22 May 2017 residents reported that notices were placed on cars along Oaklands Drive. The notices stated that clamping was to be introduced in the vicinity. The notices bore the logos of Dublin City Council and Rathgar Residents Association.  Neither the DCC nor the RRA have any knowledge of, or connection with, these notices. They appear to be a hoax or prank of some sort.
